AC Running but Not Cooling

The most common call we get, by a distance. The fan blows, the light is on, but the air coming out is barely cooler than the room. The causes, roughly in the order we find them:

Choked filters and coils. Dust from roads and construction blocks airflow fast in this city. A proper jet service often solves it outright.
Outdoor unit not running. A failed run capacitor, contactor or fan motor stops the compressor or the outdoor fan.
Low refrigerant from a leak. Usually at a flare joint, the indoor coil or a pipe rubbing against the wall.
Sensor or PCB fault. The board thinks the room is already cool, so the compressor never starts.
Undersized AC or heat load. A 1-ton AC in a west-facing top-floor room will struggle in May, however healthy it is. We'll tell you if that's the issue.

Water Dripping From the Indoor Unit

Water running down your wall or dripping on the bed is almost always a drainage problem: a drain pipe choked with algae and dust, a pipe that's lost its downward slope, or a dirty coil overflowing the tray. Occasionally it's ice forming on a coil because of low gas, which then melts and floods. We clear the drain with a pressure flush, correct the slope and find the root cause. AC water leakage causes

Outdoor Unit Silent or Humming

If the indoor unit runs but the outdoor unit stays silent, or hums without starting, suspect the capacitor, contactor, outdoor fan motor, compressor overload or wiring. AC Not Turning On, Tripping or Not Responding to the Remote

Check the remote batteries and the MCB first. If the AC still won't respond, the likely causes are a blown fuse or failed power supply on the indoor PCB, a faulty receiver, or a shorted component tripping the breaker. We test safely and repair or replace the board. AC PCB repair

Error Codes and Blinking Lights

Inverter ACs report faults through codes on the display or a pattern of blinking lights. Each brand uses its own system: LG shows CH codes, Daikin uses letter-number codes, Hitachi and some others blink the timer lamp. A code points to the circuit at fault, such as a sensor, fan motor, communication line or compressor drive, and our technician confirms it with tests before replacing anything. Inverter AC repair

Strange Noises and Bad Smells

Rattling usually means a loose panel or mounting. Squealing often points to a fan motor bearing. A musty smell is mould on a coil that hasn't been cleaned properly, and a burning smell means switch it off and call us straight away.

Gas Leak Repair and Refilling

An AC doesn't consume refrigerant. If yours is low, it's leaking. Our process: pressure-test with nitrogen to find the leak, repair it (re-flaring a joint, brazing a pipe or repairing a coil), vacuum the system to remove moisture, then charge the correct gas, R32, R410A or R22 depending on your model, to the manufacturer's specification. PCB and Inverter Board Repair

Control boards fail from voltage spikes, heat and moisture. We repair at component level where it's reliable, which often costs far less than a new board, and replace where it isn't. For inverter ACs, we test the outdoor inverter board and the indoor board separately, because one often gets blamed for the other's fault.

Why is my AC running but not cooling?

The most common causes are clogged filters and coils, an outdoor unit that isn't running because of a failed capacitor or fan motor, and low gas from a leak. Clean the filters and check whether the outdoor fan is spinning. If it isn't, or cooling stays weak, you need a technician.

How often does an AC need gas refilling?

Never, if there's no leak. A correctly installed, leak-free AC holds its refrigerant for its whole life. If someone tells you it needs gas every year, the leak hasn't been fixed.

Why is water leaking from my AC indoor unit?

A blocked or poorly sloped drain pipe is the usual cause. Dirty coils and, less often, low gas causing ice on the coil are the others.

Can you repair inverter ACs?

Yes. We read the error codes, test sensors, fan motors and boards, and repair or replace inverter PCBs for all major brands.
