This is where most of our Godrej work comes from.
Spin Tub Not Turning
The usual chain of suspects, cheapest first: the spin lid safety switch, the spin timer, the brake mechanism, the spin motor capacitor, and finally the spin motor. Most of the time it's one of the first three.
Wash Pulsator Stopped or Weak
A worn wash timer, a slipping belt or a weak motor capacitor. A pulsator that only turns one way is almost always the timer.
Water Under the Machine
A cracked drain hose, a worn spin seal, or a drain selector that no longer closes fully. Water reaching the motors shortens their life, so it's worth fixing promptly.
Loud Spin
An uneven load or a missing spin cover plate. If neither, the spin tub bearing or basket mounting.
Godrej Fully Automatic Top-Load Repairs
Godrej's fully automatic top-loaders come to us most often with water not filling (inlet mesh or valve), drain problems (drain motor or blocked pipe), spin refusing to start (lid switch or clutch), and control panels that stop responding after a voltage surge. All are routine repairs.

- Fit the spin cover before spinning, every time
- Don't overload the spin tub; split heavy loads
- Empty the lint filter after each wash
- Keep the base dry and unplug after use during monsoon storms
- On top-loaders, clean the inlet mesh twice a year if you're on borewell water
