Bottom-Mount Fridges
Because the freezer sits below, cold air has to travel upward to the fridge section through a duct. A failed fan, a stuck damper or ice blocking that duct leaves the top warm while the freezer stays cold. Defrost heaters, sensors and the drain are the next things we check.
Double-Door and Side-by-Side
The usual frost-free faults: fans, defrost systems, sensors and inverter boards. Side-by-sides add ice makers and water valves.
Single-Door
Relays, thermostats, gaskets and drain holes.
Display Codes
Haier models with displays show fault codes for sensors, fans and defrost. Codes vary, so send yours with the model number to +91 00000 00000.

Why is the top of my bottom-mount fridge warm?
Cold air isn't reaching it, usually because of the fan, the damper or an iced-up duct. Rarely a gas problem.
