What a Proper Installation Includes

Planning the Position

Before drilling anything, our technician checks with you:

• Indoor unit: high on the wall, with air blowing along the length of the room, not straight onto a bed or sofa, and clear of curtains and direct sunlight on the sensor
• Outdoor unit: shaded if possible, with at least 30 cm clearance behind it and open space in front, and no hot-air recirculation into a narrow duct
• Pipe route: as short and straight as possible; every extra metre and bend costs a little cooling
• Power: a dedicated 16A socket or MCB-protected point, properly earthed, of adequate wire gauge for your AC's tonnage

Fitting

• Indoor unit mounting plate fixed level, so the drain flows correctly
• Wall core cut at a slight downward slope to the outside, so rain can't run in
• Outdoor unit fixed on a strong wall bracket or floor stand with anti-vibration pads
• Copper pipes flared accurately and joints tightened to the right torque; poor flares are the number-one source of future gas leaks
• Drain pipe run with a continuous downward slope, no sagging loops
• Pipes, cable and drain taped neatly together and the wall hole sealed

Vacuuming: The Step That's Often Skipped

We connect a vacuum pump and evacuate the indoor unit and pipes before releasing the gas. This removes air and moisture that would otherwise reduce cooling and corrode the system from inside. Many quick installations skip it. We never do.

Testing and Handover

We check every joint for leaks, run the AC, measure the vent temperature and running current, and show you the remote functions, filter cleaning and sleep and eco modes. Our full installation checklist

Window AC Installation

Window ACs need a sturdy frame or a cut-out in the wall or window, a slight backward tilt so water drains outside, and a seal around the unit to keep hot air and insects out. We build or adjust the frame as needed and make sure the unit is secure.
