Not Starting
On fully automatic models, we check the child lock, the lid or door lock, water supply and then the board's power section. Voltage surges are a common cause of sudden board failure, so if the machine died during a power cut or storm, mention it when you call.
Tub or Pulsator Not Turning
Top-loaders: belt, clutch, motor or motor sensor. Semi-automatics: wash timer, belt or motor capacitor.
Spin Not Working
Top-loaders: lid switch, incomplete drain or clutch. Semi-automatics: spin lid switch, spin timer, brake or spin motor.
Water Problems
Not filling (inlet mesh or valve), not draining (drain motor, valve or blocked pipe), or leaking (hoses, seals, gasket on front-loaders).
