The box is in the hall. Or maybe you've just moved into a new flat in Kanuru and the old machine is sitting on the balcony, not yet connected. Either way, you want it working without leaks, without the machine shaking itself across the floor on its first spin, and without guessing which pipe goes where.
That's what our installation visit is for. We set up front-load, top-load and semi-automatic machines of every brand, in homes and apartments across Vijayawada. Need a repair instead?
What We Do During an Installation
Before Anything Is Connected
- Transit bolts out. Front-loaders ship with three or four bolts locking the drum for transport. Leave them in and the first spin can wreck the bearings and suspension. You'd be surprised how many "brand new but noisy" machines we find with them still fitted. We remove them and give them back to you for any future move.
- Location check. Distance to tap and drain, floor strength, room for the door to open, and protection from rain on open balconies.
- Power point check. A 15A, properly earthed socket close to the machine. We'll tell you if the point needs an electrician, and we never run a washing machine off a loose extension board.
Connections
- Inlet: the hose is fitted to a suitable tap with a proper adapter, and the washers are seated so it doesn't drip.
- Drain: the outlet hose is routed at the correct height to a drain point or outlet pipe, so water doesn't siphon back or overflow.
- Levelling: the feet are adjusted with a spirit level. An unlevel machine vibrates, walks and wears out its suspension early.
- Stand: if you've bought a trolley stand, we fit it and set it level too.
Test and Handover
We run a short wash and a full spin with you watching, check for leaks at every joint, and take five minutes to show you the programmes you'll actually use, how to clean the drain filter, and how much detergent to use. That last tip alone saves most families a lot of grey laundry.
Apartment Problems We Solve Every Week
Installing a machine in a ground-floor house is easy. Vijayawada's apartment blocks bring their own puzzles, and we've seen most of them.
Low Water Pressure on Upper Floors
Front-loaders need a minimum inlet pressure to fill properly. On the top floors of overhead-tank buildings, pressure can be too low, triggering "water inlet" errors. We'll check it during installation and suggest the right fix, from cleaning the tap aerator to a small booster pump.
No Proper Drain Point
Many balconies were never designed for a washing machine. Draining into a floor trap without the right hose height causes back-siphoning and smells. We set up the drain so it works with what you have, and tell you if a small plumbing change would be better.
Rain and Sun on Open Balconies
Direct monsoon rain on the control panel and harsh afternoon sun on plastic parts both shorten a machine's life. We'll suggest the best spot and a cover if needed. More on washing machine problems in apartments
Moving House? Uninstallation and Shifting
We disconnect, drain fully, refit the transit bolts on front-loaders, and secure the hoses so nothing is damaged in transit. At the new place, we reinstall and test. Book both visits together and we'll schedule them around your moving day.
Charges and Common Questions
Installation typically costs ₹400 – ₹700, and uninstallation ₹300 – ₹500 . Extra hoses, tap adapters or a stand are charged at cost if you need them. Some brands include free installation with a new purchase; check your invoice first, since that's the better deal if it applies.
Should I wait for the brand's free installation?
If it's included and they can come within a day or two, yes. If you're waiting a week with a pile of laundry, call us.
Can you install a machine I bought online?
Yes, any brand, from any seller.
How long does installation take?
About 45 minutes to an hour, including the test run.
Do you fix the inlet tap if it's leaking?
We can replace a basic tap or fit an adapter. Larger plumbing work, like a new line, needs a plumber, and we'll tell you exactly what to ask for.
